Grab phone, run to window, dial 911. Only see one vehicle in the intersection, but given the location of its bumper, I'm guessing that it bounced off of another vehicle just out of sight up Fulton ave. First police vehicle (a van) arrived four minutes after I called. Fourth police vehicle at about the 16 minute mark. I figure one or two tow trucks are probably on their way. Watched for a while, took some pictures ... no ambulance, so folks must not be hurt too badly (which isn't surprising given the amount of front-end damage visible on the truck I can see, but it's still a reassuring clue). Hmm. How long until rush hour starts on Lombard and/or Fulton? (One lane is passable.)

Okay, next question -- am I up for the day, or is there any more sleep in my future this morning?

Edit 06:06 AM: A fire truck just showed up (uh, 47 minutes after the collision), apparently just to hose spilled fluids off the pavement, as far as I can tell.
