Checking in from Pennsic to read my mail, insert some quotes from this week into my Quote-of-the-Day file, and post this note. Probably can't afford the fees for enough time to read other folks' journals though, so I'll have a lot of catching up to do when I get home.
It's being an odd Pennsic. First few days I was the only one in my camp, to my surprise. There are new cool neighbours camped in between us and the cool neighbours we already knew we liked, so I've had people around. Now war is starting to fill in population-wise and feel like itself. The first few days I was wandering around saying, "I'm home, but home isn't here yet." The usual response was, "Don't worry, home will get here." (For variety, I wandered up to the Lord Mayor of Clan Cambion and in an intentionally whiny voice said, "Daddy, is there here yet?")
More from here later maybe, and certainly much to say when I return to Baltimore a week and a bit hence.
Hmm. Guess I will glance at
anniemal's
journal to see if she's posted updates about how Perrine
is doing.

Land grab is always weird. Monday after Pennsic is downright desolate.
