It occurs to me that I should've tried to do that line thus:
"Weilawei! nis king ni queenë þat ne ssel drink of deaþes drench."
Which ought to display correctly on Windows machines, and I think on most UNIXoid systems (i.e. UNIX and Linux), but I'm not sure it'll show correctly on a Mac. (I'll go check on my Mac, running OS 9.1, in a moment -- somebody with MacOS X let me know how it looks on that (and what browser(s) you use).)
If anyone's curious, it's from a 13th Century English song called, "Man mai longë lives weenë" (Man may wish for long life), and the line translates approximately to, "Alas! Neither a king nor a queen can avoid drinking death's draught."
