Y'know, I figured I could pluck any line from that poem, and it'd be recognized. :-)

I was in a mood for the classics, and had trouble deciding between Service and Tennyson. (Then I had trouble deciding between that line and "There wasn’t a breath in that land of death, and I hurried, horror-driven".)
