I don't do origami. I tried a couple of really simple shapes a long time ago, decided I was really bad at it, and then decided that although it would be a nifty skill and looked like fun, it didn't look like enough fun to put in the effort to become good at it.

But just now I had one of those inspirations for a goofy project that I'll probably never start, which tug at my brain anyhow. I need to learn to fold an origami clown. Then I need to make a thousand of them.

Reason? Of course there's a reason. Just not a very good one. Nonetheless, "I see a need."
