Well, the quotability of American Presidents has declined steadily since they opened the vote to the poor and immigrants and Natives and Japanese and women and TV watchers.

When politicians get elected on sound bites rather than ideas, these things happen.

Too bad we can't have an objective way to use our newfangled hackable electronic voting machines to automatically weight people's votes by the percentage of questions on a quiz that they get right...
