Fun. Fun fun. Yeah. I've got a shot I took the first time I got my hands on a 24mm lens for 35mm. Or maybe it was a 28mm lens. I shot up the neck of a guitar (cliche shot, I know, but I still liked it), using DOF of a small aperture to get much of it in focus. I'm going to try using tilts to get the whole thing in focus on the 4x5.
The thought also struck me that if I want to exaggerate perspective distortion, I can use shifts to do that too, right?
Using back tilt will exaggerate the perspective distortion more than front tilt. (although you may need to use both to get the whole neck in focus, since the camera has fairly limited movements)
