You're the one with the big brain, it's much efficient for you to learn the cat's language than vice versa. The catese for "small edible thing moving around enticingly OVER THERE!" is "kKKKKKKKKK!" Don't point with hand, look fixedly where the thing is. Cat will follow *gaze*, not hand. If you look at cat while saying that, cat will be perplext.
