I had an odd experience some weeks back -- I looked at a page of one of my stories, and there were nine languages on it, including one synthetic. (The word is shifgrethor. Rishathra is also a useful word, from a different imaginary language.)(In context, I was using rishathra as a mating between a member of one of the multiple fandoms and a mundane.)(I guess it isn't technically rishathra if you can produce offspring.)
It's such a polyglot language, I'm not sure what "only English" could be. I do find our inept groping conversations in bad French amusing, but language of any sort is so clumsy, I don't find English all that bad, mostly. I have this problem with the use of one word for "eros" and agape" and everything else in between, but mostly it doesn't frustrate me any more than any other probably would.
And it's hard enough, even if I'm pretty sure I do have the word for what I mean, to be understood.

Does jargon count? Speaking soothly?
