Mostly read-only for a spell

Over the past weekend, something wonderful happened on schedule; some fun things happened; and something disturbing happened. If I'm unusually quiet for a while, it's because I'm still processing. (Ifwhen I want to talk about it, I'll talk about it, and that's as much as I'm going to say for a while. In the meantime, don't worry about my not posting. Nobody's dying; just lots of thinking and sorting.)

I'm aware that an entry like this is a two-edged sword -- it'll make people who are inclined to worry about my health when I'm quiet worry less, and it'll make people who don't usually notice if I'm quiet feel that there's something to worry about. Don't.

If you just want to give "I'm here and alive" vibes, post links... I don't always post links for that purpose alone---and even when I do, the links I post are interesting ones, interesting to me anyway---but they do serve that purpose as well.

You sounded like you needed that. :) It was extremely difficult, but I refrained from adding a noogie. :D

Are you ok? Will you post everything that happened? Poor you. You have a support system. Look to your friends and those you LOVE for comfort. You're not a bad person.
