Thanks for the spelling correction -- I've fixed it. (I actually noticed it myself while I was editing, made a mental note to go fix it before posting the entry, and then forgot by the time I'd finished typing. Double-whoops.)
We had a big string of arsons what, two winters ago? And there's always a few anytime, I'm sure. But last night when a boat and a crane went up, and not in one of the usually-ignored parts of the city, it got attention. But I think most of the fires here really are accidental. Baltimore is pretty flammable. And a handful of factors make the poor parts of town more likely to catch.
You're still having problem with a malformed spam or virus message horking your email, huh? Is it happening daily? (I am so glad I can "vi /var/spool/mail/dglenn" when I need to, though I understand why many people don't have that option.) Yeah, there should be a special place in Hell for the people who don't merely fill your mailbox, but actually break it. *grrr*
(Ah, I see your mail is working right now. Oh my. Looks like I'm in trouble...)
I was shown this morning how to argue with it from here, but he told me a lot of stuff fast and will have to tell me again, probably. I had 2 pieces of jam-spam, out of 8 total messages.

And given what I've seen and heard about, both in Baltimore and around here, there's way more than enough arson to go around.
I haven't decided whether repeatedly choking my email is worse than arson, if the house is empty...
If my stinkin' email's working, I'll tell you what you're gonna get for trying to tell me not to fear, silly goose.
