So, if it was a TIA, it could be an indicator or warning that a bigger stroke is on the way, and often, when they find a TIA, they can give you meds and such to prevent a stroke. And while I know that eventually you might be billed, going to an emergency room or an urgent care center is totally appropriate and you're probably eligible for reduced charges or free care.
