Perrine is home. All went well. I'm not supposed to chase her around the house or let her chase me for several days, but when I brought her home she ate only a few bites of food before going into mouse-hunting mode. More later.

When we got Pellie's write-protect tab punched, the vet told me to keep him calm and quiet for a day or two. I snickered in disbelief at the thought of keeping a particularly bouncy 6-month-old kitten "calm and quiet", and the vet laughed with me, and said, "well, try."
And remember, for every kitten Perrine doesn't have, there's one less wonderful cat who will be put to sleep by the SPCA.

I'm glad Perrine's doing well. Good luck keeping her calm. :-)

*laugh* As tapes and floppy disks are becoming secondary media to CDs and DVDs, next time around I'd better make sure we select "Finalize session" rather than "Finalize CD". :/

*nod* Or, live as a feral or semi-feral, abandoned by owners who liked the little fluffy kitten -- until it grew up and became a cat. (No, I've never understood this. All our cats look just like large kittens to me!) Stojko and Sato were part of a feral litter, and I'm so glad we were able to give them a home (even though it was a painful time too).
