Most people say (complain) it has no effect. On me it has a very subtle effect, that being of convincing myself that "it is probably nothing" and letting me go back to sleep until I am fully rested.
I hear that taking it for long periods can mess with your brain chemistry, so I normally only take it from 1-5 evenings straight, and usually 1-1.5mg dosage each.
