Seeing a helicopter over or near Baltimore isn't unusual. It's usually the police helicopter; occasionally it's one of the television news choppers. It's rare to see two at once, but that might happen over a really big fire -- you might see two television birds or a television one and the police one. But this afternoon I saw [nothing at all, nope, nope *eyes [livejournal.com profile] alyxyn and the comments warily*] a flight of helicopters (four of them) flying around just south of the city (making a huge circle, I think, but I didn't see them long enough to be sure). They were all dark coloured, like the Baltimore police helicopter, but too high for me to see markings. I think three were the same (or very similar) model, but one had a noticeably different shape.

I wonder what was going on.

best get out your tinfoil hat. when the black helicopters come, you never know what might happen next...

My house gets kind of warm. If I'm wearing a tinfoil hat, and my head gets really sweaty, and I bump into some other metal, will I turn into a battery? (And if so, will I suddenly be up on current events?)

i think experimentation is called for. try putting on the hat over wet hair and bumping into a pole, and then get someone to lick you and see if there's a current.

Were they big and loud (or so far away you couldn't tell)? If so, I often see Army (or Marine or ...) troop copters (like the double-rotor Chinooks) flying in convoys. Then again, we have more military bases down here around DC than you do up in Baltimore.

None looked that big, and none was a double-rotor. The different-shaped one was a little larger than the other three, I think, but they all seemed to be (as far as I could judge from that distance) to be comparable in size to the police helicopter ... maybe a little bigger.

Black UN Conspiracy helicopters out doing a fund-raiser.

#blink# Hey, maybe they're arriving to supervise our elections in a few months; maybe they're helicopters of democratic liberation instead of the Conspiracy; maybe I'm a hopeless optimist; oh look, butterflies!

Sorry. I must have squinted too hard at the "fnord"s on the choppers...

Big loud whirly (shiny) butterflies!

"Shiny" moments are not allowed! There are too many people in my immediate circle of friends/acquaintances who really do have AD(H)D; I don't need a league of impersonators! Concentrate, dammit! Pay attention!

Oooh! "Hockeydoctors!"

He saw the helicopters?

[He saw the helicopters.]

Look, he's not supposed to see the helicopters. NO ONE is supposed to see the helicopters. How the hell did he see them?

[We don't know. We're looking into it.]

Get back to me once you've taken care of the situation.
