Then again, if there are two things at which human beings are nearly almost universally shitty, they are

1) risk perception, and
2) "forsee[ing] the remote consequenses" of anything...

Dare I to suspect that Mr. Webster was an optimist? He seems to suggest that these things can be fixed...
