Two things:

Eek! Urk? Boom! Exploding knitting needle

It's now clear that I'm not making a wee-hours getaway to Pennsic. My house is not the ideal place to try organizing and loading out by flashlight, so when the lights go out, I'll crash and resume packing around dawn. Getting tired of finding more delays. Want to be there already. Want to have been there for a few days already. *pout* [stomps foot]

Bonus whining not on the agenda: roof is leaking tonight. Wheee. Gotta go check whether I've got the trash cans lined up in the right spots.

Sleep is good. Drive safely - and pack safely! (Leave those lethal knitting needles at home!)

We're not getting off early either. Was Mom trying to off me with that jar of needles? Should I not scratch my back with them anymore?

I thought the roof had been repaired!

That's the really frustrating part: it was repaired last summer. Admittedly the current leak is a lot smaller than last year's... Then again, I think the last one started out about this size at first. Argh.

Doublecheck those trash cans, then triplecheck them, before leaving for Pennsic. Sunday's supposed to be another rainy day, thanks to Hurricane Charley.

Glad you were able to come by and get the Clie. Sorry if I seemed a bit short with you... but Mom was already drunk and she would not have understood the skirt and heals. My uncles (the guys in the parking lot drinking) had quite a few words to say. I just didn't think you needed that hassle. HUGGS. The world changes ever so slowly sometimes.

Hope you have fun at WAR!! Hugg everyone for me!

I caught the slightly-panicked look on your face and filled in the blanks, and besides, I really was in that much of a hurry. I'd wondered if the guys outside were connected, and whether they'd say something annoying to you after I left.

Thanks. I'll hug as many people as I can.

And I shall snuggle you and poke your sore spots. I'm taking another brief nap and a wash. Leviathan is mostly packed. I hope. Coolers still to go.

ETD is 0000-0100. Depends on who's awake.

Ah, I'd wondered how you two were doing. I'm looking at possibly about the same ETD, depending on how much of a nap I feel I need first, since I'm driving solo. Food and tent are in the car, still assembling bedding and sheet music; took a break a while ago 'cause I noticed I was moving more and more slowly. Still don't have my cape (couldn't reach the friend who was mending it earlier (and now that it's Shabbos I'm not going to)). Looking to arrive either around daybreak or around "most people wake up now" time (which is hard to pin down since it depends on the weather). Plan is to finish loading everything but cameras and instruments, then take a nap. *hug* See you there!
