-- Rob Baur, a fan of the animated TV series, The Simpsons, after having grafted a tomato plant to a tobacco plant, creating 'tomacco'. An episode of The Simpsons featured the fictional creation of the "delicious and deadly" hybrid, inspiring Baur to try to do the same.

Yet another demonstration that science is now less limited by technology than by imagination. Which is a bit scary when you really think about it...
