Julian Fantino's thugs in Toronto broke up a hostage situation (guy with a gun going postal because of an argument with his ex-wife shot someone and then took another hostage) in Union Station yesterday morning by sending in a police sniper and shooting the guy dead. I don't care who he was holding a gun on; that's still an execution with no due process, and we outlawed state-sanctioned murder here quite a lot of years ago. There were five hundred other things they could have done, including turning a fire hose or a taser on the guy, but Fantino's thugs, as always, shoot first and ask questions later.

I don't think there's any reforming corrupt police departments; I think they should basically fire almost everyone and start all over again...and they can start with the brass.
