(Sorry for the short notice; a side effect of my body having been wonky so much lately is that I haven't gotten around to a lot of what I've wanted to post (or email).)

The Homespun Ceilidh Band will be performing in Bowie, Maryland tomorrow (2004-09-04) starting at 2:00 PM. If you're not already at DragonCon, WorldCon, or RenFest (or live too far away), come on down and hear us play.

The performance will be in Old Bowie, in the small park next to the Wild Bird center, not the park with the howitzer.

Directions (thanks to fidhle):

Take the beltway, or any other road you wish, and get on University Blvd/Greenbelt Rd, Md. Rte 193, going east. Take 193 past the Goddard Space Flight Center and past Good Luck Rd, to Md 564, Lanham-Severn Rd.

Turn left onto 564 and proceed towards Bowie, After a couple of miles, you will see the Bowie city sign, and shortly after that you will go past a small triangular park with a howitzer in it.

Go past that park and look for a small park with park benches on your left. The park will have one of the Blue Bird statutes in it, and it is next to a Wild Bird center. That is the park where we will be playing.
