If you drive as though you're afraid of your car, you probably shouldn't be driving.[*]

(I'm not saying that everyone should drive like an 18-year-old boy; but there's some distance between 'careful' and 'so timid you become a dangerous obstacle'.[**])

([*] Or maybe you need a smaller car.)

([**] As opposed to a merely annoying obstacle.)

As I have said in the past, "If your going to do something stupid AND illegal at least do it quickly so as to not inconvenience the line of traffic behind you."

Someone doing the speed limit in the left lane?! Aargh! Are they crazy? Or just suicidal?

While there are exceptions, that's usually merely annoying. (Okay, sometimes the annoyance isn't 'mere' and affects a great many other drivers...)

After driving a rental in Israel, it typically takes me a week or so to get down to normal driving rhythm again.
