From
acroyear70 who got it from John Cleese:
How many Bush administration officials does it take to change a light bulb?
None. There's nothing wrong with that light bulb. There is no need to change anything. We made the right decision and nothing has happened to change our minds. People who criticize this light bulb now, just because it doesn't work anymore, supported us when we first screwed it in, and when these flip-floppers insist on saying that it is burned out, they are merely giving aid and encouragement to the Forces of Darkness.

Our intelligence told us that the bulb was about to explode, so we went in, even though some people in the world said that bulbs don't explode like that, we went in because we had to, with a coalition of electricity and light-bulb industry executives. Even though the old bulb hadn't burned out yet, we couldn't wait, because the tell-tale tinkle of a blown bulb could have been a mushroom cloud.
Sure, we may have promised to install a 50/100/150W three way bulb with a new fixture and a spiffy new dimmer switch, but the 20W refrigerator light is all our army needs to do the job. If the army needed anything else, nobody told us. And with this new bulb lighting the way, people across the world will see us for the light of freedom that we are. Just don't let us catch you trying to put in a different bulb, or talk about the one that's there, or we'll throw you in jail.
