"Spammers routinely flout the law in multiple jurisdictions, so are unlikely to respect Korean bedtimes." -- John Leyden in The Register, 2004-02-27, in an article about proposed anti-spam laws in Korea that include a ban on unsolicited commercial email between 9PM and 9AM.

*laugh*

Gee, and here I thought one of the great reasons for e-mail was to permit communications at any time of day or night.

Email doesn't ring. Close clam, she goes to sleep. Just blinky green light. Anyone can spam me anytime, but it won't wake me. I wake up, roll over, open clam, maybe go pee. I just delete the spam as it happens.

Which leads me to wonder what kind of computers Koreans are using.
