I didn't have any problem with Arlington's machines. Very easy to use. Maybe it depends on the design of the machine. I didn't see "Diebold" on them however.
When I was watching some other machine being used on the news, it seemed like there wasn't enough room on the screen between the candidates to press the right one. The machine I used had very large areas to press. It also had several screens, I had to keep pressing "next." But then it listed my choices at the end to confirm.
