Page 23 Meme

I've done this before, but hey, it's going around again and this time I'm at home. But once again the nearest book to hand doesn't have a lot of words in it. The instructions:

  1. Grab the nearest book.
  2. Open the book to page 23.
  3. Find the fifth sentence.
  4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal, along with these instructions.

(I decided to use "phrase" as a reasonable interpretation of "sentence" in this context.)

Thanks. :-) Really I was just solving the problem at hand -- it was either do something like that or grab the third-closest book instead of the closest.

Hmm. [looks around] And the third-closest book is a dictionary. Huh. (Fourth and fifth are novels, and they are within arm's reach, so if I'd wanted to cheat, I could've grabbed one of those...)
