A Babbagethought:

What would happen if we put turn signals on driving video games and rewarded their use in the scoring, even where unrealistic (such as games set on a race track)? Would the habit carry over? Are such games popular enough?

I am not familiar with racing games, but do they have that many turns? You are not supposed to use turn signals when the road curves.

Actually, I was thinking about lane changes, which is where I most often encounter dangerous lack of turn signals in real life.

Off the top of my head (with the caveat that I'm pretty far behind on arcade games) I can't think of a racing game that has intersections and turns in it.

There are the various "Grand Theft Auto" games (although I find the concept of using turn signals while stealing cars to be vaguely... off.)
