And I watched the Anita Hill/Clarence Thomas debacle. Simpson may be nicey-nicey now, but he certainly put me off him then. Forever. I remember his sneer very clearly. Or may be someone else's, vividly. But I put him on my "Liar Liar pants on Fire, and you're rude." list. There is no difference between Clarence Thomas and catfish. Slimy bottom-feeders. Only I like catfish. Wouldn't park 'em in the Supreme Court, though.
Anita Hill did what she felt she had to do. Her reluctance was obvious to me. Maybe it's a "girl thing". It was probably detrimental to her case, and left her subject to the jibes aimed at her, but she didn't want to go there, and did so out of "Civic Duty". Women don't operate the same way XYs do, damn well I woot, and she may have had cultural things impinging on her. I will be ever proud of her courage.
And Clarence Thomas's voting record has proven itself in my book, anyway. Slimy bottom feeder. Might be tasty over rice if we can find a strong enough sauce to cover his flavour. Now I await the SS. Too bad I'm not well armed. I so miss Judge Marshall. Mom backs me on this. She hates Thomas too. Eh. Pessimistic now
