At lest you are doing better than me. When Inkers brought a dead morning dove into the house I freaked. I was worried about rabies and other not nice things.
I wish Meowth would learn to hunt the Tree roaches that fly into the house and not turn them into play toys.
Yeah, that's why I worry about Nero catching mice, which he had been doing in my kitchen earlier in the year before the first couple of really solid freezes. I keep thinking he's going to get rabies, or worms, or something. I'd really rather he not eat them, or even kill them, but I do like it when he corners and stuns them for me. It's easier that way, and somewhat cleaner than emptying traps.
I know when he's got one, because he gets them cornered and pokes at them, making these sort of "Mrr... Mrr... Mrrp..." noises, and/or I hear *THWUMP* (sound of 15lb, clumsy cat pouncing) *skitterskitterskitter* *Eeeek!* (the mice really do make about that sound). Gah. Please let me have moved out of here by the time mouse season rolls around again...
