As a data point, I spent much of the weekend driving in and out of downtown Baltimore. The only time when I had any difficulty with this whatsoever was during an actual snowfall on Saturday afternoon.
*nod* My impression on Sunday was that driving wouldn't be so bad, but on-street parking would be an issue (if I went anyhwere that was relevant). But at that point I wasn't feeling well enough to want to go out. My "glad I decided not to drive far" was meant mostly about Saturday while it was still snowing.
