I dunno...I think that for Catholicism to really ruin your life, it has to be thrust upon you from infancy. That way it gets into your subconscious and gives you all sorts of complexes. My father-in-law is a fine example, one of the most crippled people I've ever met, a total casualty of Catholicism (which is a real shame, because he's also very billiant. What a waste).
