Oh, damn! Why do I always think your birthday is the 26th?! I knew after Saturday's entry you'd need couple days off, but was thinking maybe sometime this week we could celebrate a little bit a little early. I'm sorry I slipped up.

Much regret and contrition. I'm glad you had a pleasant and peaceful birthday.

For some mysterious reason, a lot of people have trouble remembering exactly when my birthday is. People who've known me a long time still misremember it was the 19th, 20th, 22nd, 25th, 26th, or 28th, and a few consistently misremember it as being 21 March. It's been like this for a very long time, and I've never figured out why. (Then again, I haven't tried very hard to figure it out. Or really investigated whether the same people have trouble with anyone else's birthday.)

Since I myself can only remember a few people's birthdays without the assistance of the Unix 'calendar' program, I can't hold it against anyone who loses track of mine. So don't give yourself too hard a time for having gotten the date wrong. *HUG*

Isn't that what the 'calendar' program is for? 8-)
(I have a modified version that gives warnings farther out. ;-)
