I'll snicker and commiserate. I grew up in the Lake Erie snowbelt. We didn't get significant delays until over 6 inches fell -- at least until budget cutbacks and stupid politicians made the decision not to clear roads on weekends or overnight (meaning after 7 pm).
However, I'm now living in an area that didn't seem able to handle 2 inches of snow in December (with 60 accidents -- that the police responded to). And the 4-6 inches of snow over the course of a weekend that they couldn't get cleared for over a week. So I sympathize, entirely.
