It would be nice for there to be a "Christians for Evolution" movement. Some fervent people going around calling IDiots faithless for their insistance that there is something the Creator could not have done.

Yaas. I listen to all the ID arguments that talk about evolution being impossible because it's too complex and weird, and I have this gut reaction of, "Hey -- *my* God isn't limited by your poor imagination". It's fascinating how the process of anthropomorphizing Deity often results in silly limitations. Man makes God in his own image, and all that.

All of this does make me wish that Inherit the Wind was required reading in schools, though. The climax of that play is still the best statement on the subject that I've seen. (Certainly got me digging into the historical basis at a wee age...)
