Where I'll be, where I might be ...
This afternoon, Saturday, 2005-04-16, I'll be performing with Thrir Venstri Foetr / Three Left Feet at a military re-enactment event featuring groups from several centuries: Marching Thought Time, at Marietta House Museum (also referred to as Marietta Mansion) in Glen Dale, Maryland. The event runs from 11:00 to 17:00; we will be performing at 14:00 and 16:20.
Tonight, depending on how tired I am after MTT, I may attend the premiere of Dawn's Journey:
from Vivian Adelberg-Rudow
On Saturday, April 16, 2005, 8:00 PM, at An Die Musik, 409 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD. ...... the world premiere of my work DAWN'S JOURNEY, in memory of Dawn Culbertson, an electroacoustic music work with visuals shown on a screen 20/20 feet.
All the music is mine except brief English Country Music excerpts from Bare Necessities CD, English Country Dances on Rounder Records.
A reception will follow. $10.00 general, $7.00 seniors & students.
Tomorrow, 2005-04-17, I'll be back at Marching Through Time with Thrir Venstri Foetr again.
Friday, 2005-04-22, depending on how organized I am, I'm considering attending this concert:

Next Saturday, 2005-04-23, 13:00-16:00, I plan to attend a meeting of the Baltimore chapter of the American Recorder Society, which includes a workshop with Stewart Carter. I'll try to get more details, but here's what I have so far: it's at Maryland Presbytarian Church on Providence Road north of Towson, I think there's a fee but I don't remember how much, and they'd prefer (but do not require) an RSVP so they'll know roughly how many people to expect. (I'll get the contact info later as well.)
The evening of Saturday, 2005-04-23, there's a concert I probably won't attend but will mention because I suspect that some of my local friends will be interested:
(as part of the Palestrina Choir's William Byrd Festival and the Ronn McFarlane Seminar)

Since its founding by Michael Harrison in 1986, the choir has performed well over 100 of Palestrina's compositions, including 22 of his 104 Masses.
The weekend of 2005-04-29 - 2005-05-01 is the Faerie Festival at Spoutwood Farm. I'll be performing there with Thrir Venstri Foetr / Three Left Feet on Sunday, 2005-05-01, but not the other two days. (Yes, this is the same weekend as the Southern Maryland Celtic Festival. The Homespun Ceilidh Band will not be appearing at Southern Maryland this year.)
Saturday, 2005-05-21, I'll be performing with Thrir Venstri Foetr / Three Left Feet at the Maryland Faerie Festival.
I've also got stuff scheduled for June, July, August, September, and October, but I think this is far enough ahead to post here right now. (I'll try to get around to adding all of it to the calendar page on my web site when I get around to the overdue web site update.)
