When I copied the chart into my PDA from a web site, I tacked on a note, "(what population?)", because the site where I found it gave absolutely no clue whether it was supposed to be worldwide, North America, or what, nor what years were covered.
If you happen to know where more informative resources are, or have Mad Google Skillz that I lack (many people are better at Googling than I am; I seem to be somewhere in the middle WRT search-fu), I'd be pleased to have more meaningful data than what I've got.
I'd suspected that normal covers an even wider range than shown on the chart I have.
