Perrine just brought one of her toys into the bed so she could play with it and be near me at the same time. Not a mouse this time; a very large, ugly bug, carried carefully in her mouth until she dropped it next to my legs.

Argh. Migraine and a big bug in my bed. Can I have today as a do-over? Please?

That is kind of bletcherous.

You've not been doing at all well of late, and by "of late" I mean "within the last 8 months or so." What's up? You seem to have been having one continual fibro flare, and that says to me you're stressing about something, or something deeper's going wrong with your health. Get in touch; I'm concerned.

Yes, that flare went on for a very long time. I'm not sure whether it's a stress response or just unlucky. At the moment I'm doing about as well as can be expected after driving to Poughkeepsie and back and the lack of sleep beforehand, and I was well enough to do that (uh, until after I'd done it), so I'm hoping (wish me luck!) that I'm finally coming out of that months-long flare. And trying to recover from the weekend so I don't put myself right back into one.
