Not Going To Contata

Only a few of y'all will care about this, but I did mean to mention it so that those few won't be wondering why they don't see me this weekend: I shall not be attending Contata this year due to a schedule conflict (a paying gig on Saturday down here). But I'll be thinking of the folks there and expecting convention reports next week, y'hear?

something just occured to me. The merchants I usually drive for wanted me to drive to contata, but I didn't have enough spoons. I know you can't drive this time but they prolly goto other filk events. You want I should make an inquiry if they think you'd make a good alternate driver for such?

It's worth pinging me when it comes up, but I don't know how often I'll be useful. I get to the floating east-coast filk convention more often than not, but despite years of "maybe I'll get there next time" I have not yet made it to FKO or OVFF.

Uh, and I tend to pack the car pretty full of instruments when I drive myself...
