Y'all get one guess as to why I was reading page 20

"If the light flashes while driving (in any gear range) it indicates a possible malfunction in the transmission; avoid rapid acceleration and have the transmission checked by an authorized Honda dealer as soon as possible." (p. 20 in the Owner's Manual for my car)

Because you can't find the one for your Catalina, and you figure one car
is essentially like another? Note, if it's a post-1996 car (i.e. has OBD2),
you're welcome to borrow my code scanner to find out in more detail
what it's on about.

(Funny thing, I probably still have that 1978 Pontiac Catalina manual around somewhere. I know I've got a Chilton's-or-similar for the Toyota and/or the Tempo, also (but not for the Honda).)
