Pain depends on how recently I've taken drugs and how I move; I can go hours thinking I'm fine and then move wrong as the drugs are wearing off. At this point though, it's not as bad as the fibromyalgia sometimes gets randomly. Still tired. Slept through rehearsal. Heard there's pudding forecasted; a bit unclear on the details. Headed down to [livejournal.com profile] anniemal's in a while.

Annoyed at myself for misplacing a check I need to deposit. Have not yet found out what to expect re: ER bills -- the hospital does have programs to make paying easier, and the pamphlet implied there's some sort of discount for poor people, but the emphasis was on easy payment plans. Have not yet followed the victim-assistance pointers people have provided. All of this is on my to-do list for this week.

I should get around to writing up the timeline before I get completely tired of thinking about it. Maybe tomorrow. Right now mostly tired.

Sleep is good. Pain is bad. Pudding is... well, I guess that depends on your personal outlook on pudding.

Annoyed at myself for misplacing a check I need to deposit.

I first read that as "misplacing a chick"... whoah, I'm tireder than I thought.

Thank you for adding me to your friends list! Welcome to my tangental wierdness. ;)

You need to get everything written down in detail ASAP (like now even), preferably before either the bruises or the memories fade any. Speaking of which, I hope you had someone take some simple workmanlike shots of your bruises and stuff -- goodness knows you're not shy of cameras...

Both awesome ideas, both I strongly agree with.

I dind't add my own shock and outrage and sympathy comments to the earlier posts - felt like I'd just get lost in the crowd, but I'm shocked and outraged and sympathetic. Do get everything documented - the perps may never get caught, but then again they may decide to rough up the wrong folks at the wrong time and get caught, and then your evidence may help put them away awhile.

I may have a flash I can pass on - I'm pretty sure my father gave me one for my K1000 MANY years ago, which I never actually used but I still have the same desk and its in a drawer.

The pamphlets are not even close to what they are required to do if they accept Federal monies (think Medicare and Medicaid). They are required to write it off if you meet the means testing. (Technically, they're supposed to have this information out where you can see it, but like all bureaucrats, prefer to post it in an unused cellar entered through a broken lavatory guarded by a rabid pit bull and 3 cobras, one of whom has been diagnosed as terminally psychotic.)

Seriously, the paperwork is likely to be awful, but if you want some help, my folks run a rural health clinic and know all about this kind of thing.
