Upcoming performances (copied/pasted from a couple different places):

This coming Saturday at 2:00 PM, I'll be performing with The Homespun Ceilidh Band in a free concert in Bowie, MD:

Saturday JULY 2 -- 2:00 -> 4:00 PM

BOWIE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES -- OLD TOWN BOWIE, MD
at the TOWN GREEN PARK
13050 9th Street, Bowie, MD 20715

Free Admission. On-street parking.

For information about Bowie Saturday Concert Series, contact Shannon Carpenter at 301-809-3078 or scarpenter@cityofbowie.org

A few hours later that same day, I'll be performing with Thrir Venstri Foetr (Three Left Feet) at the MS Fantasy Ball in Glen Burnie, MD:

Saturday, July 2nd, 2005, 8pm to 1am
Michaels Eighth Avenue
7220 Grayburn Drive, Glen Burnie, MD.
Proceeds to benefit Multiple Sclerosis efforts.

This Wonderland themed masquerade ball is being held in support of our Team Wench Chesapeake Challenge Walk participants as they take on a 3-day journey to eradicate MS.

Tickets are $60 at the door and will entitle you to a wonder-filled night of feasting and frolicking, including live entertainment [which also includes Tinsmith, Darcy Nair, Gary Schwartz, and others], raffles, costume contests, a complete dinner full open bar, and of course music and dancing into the wee hours of the night!

And then a few weeks later, on Saturday, 23 July, I'll be playing with The Homespun Ceilidh Band again at the Virginia Scottish Games in Alexandria, VA:

Saturday JULY 23 -- VIRGINIA SCOTTISH GAMES

EPISCOPAL HIGH SCHOOL -- BRADDOCK RD & QUAKER LANE in Alexandria, VA.

LOOK FOR HCB IN "THE FIDDLE TENT" -- NOT ON THE VSG PROGRAMME.

HCB PLAYS AT AROUND 2:45 - 3:30 ON SAT JULY 23 ONLY.

Actually we are playing after the Fiddle Competition is done, which means we might start playing before 2:45 or after 2:45, depending on how many fiddlers compete.

Homespun Ceilidh Band is coming in under the umbrella of the Potomac Valley Scottish Fiddle Club, not under the main VSG event management. Look for us in THE FIDDLE TENT -- you will not see HCB listed in the VSG printed programme. But you WILL see the Fiddle Tent listed on the webpage -- see us in their tent at 2:45 on Sat July 23!

The main gate is on Braddock Road, across the street from Minnie Howard School.

We'll be dancing at the Virginia Scottish Games in the Hummel Bowl at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23. Look for us there? We'll look for you in the fiddle tent earlier, but we may not be able stay long. I don't know the details of the demo plans yet.
