heck, I did 6502 on an Apple II in hex. More interesting, as the Z80 has a positively helpful instruction set comparatively. And a clear, concise memory model. It was (sometimes) easier than restarting in intbasic to have the mini-assembler [no tags, so you had to keep all the addresses in your head].
