Obviously, since I got up to Mystic Mail to post the two previously-composed journal entries, I am feeling MUCH better today. Not 100% but mostly just tired and achy (and a bit of a cough) and have to remember not to shake my head too quickly, not head-splodey scary-looking gonna-die any more. Taking a little break before trying to work up the energy to properly do Midnight Madness.

I wanted a cheap oud. Touch The Earth no longer sells the cheap ouds they had last year, because they weren't durable enough and they don't want to sell crap. (Guess it's a good thing I didn't get one last year after all.) They had a $700 oud I definitely cannot afford, and there was a Cumbus (like an oud crossed with a banjo) that was cheap but didn't make it to Pennsic. They were going to try to get someone to bring it out to War ... I checked this evening after dinner and was told that not only did it not get here, someone here already bought it (to be shipped next week) anyhow. So -- money budgeted for that can be spent on something else or saved up.

The weather is really nice now. A bit cool tonight. Earlier it was fine in the open but too hot any place enclosed (unless naked). Alas, rain is predicted for the weekend. Well, as long as it ends early enough Sunday to pack the tent up dry, I'll be okay.

Undecided about whether to try to get to classes the next couple of days.
