Wow, is that ever seriously dumb. I can't stand people who come over all clevvar... I also can't stand people who use phrases like "some bum on Welfare" and "the lower intellects" in that sneering, Rush Limbaugh-esque kind of way. That in itself is more offensive than the imps from retail hell, and I've certainly dealt with a lot of them (and working weirder trade than most)...
