"Autumn is, every year, the time when nostalgia becomes my dearest
companion. This time of year is filled with memories, deaths, births,
endings and beginnings. Even when those memories revolve around heat-stricken
summers or flowering springs, or frozen winters with cold, numb fingers,
it is often autumn that draws them out. My life becomes a picture book, a
photo album, a home video ... and I bring them out and watch again and again,
catching pictures I had missed, moments I had forgotten as well as reviewing
my most cherished memories." --

Loved that entry, as you've probably guessed. This is the season that makes me feel most alive.

Yes ... autumn. I love it! And the wonderful thing ... Saturday we went to the Renaissance Faire. It was cool enough to wear garb without wilting, and I was so excited to be walking over fallen apples. I -love- the smell of fallen apples. That is one of those scents of autumn that just gets me.
