It's rude to wake up before the credits have finished, right?

This morning I woke up in the middle of a two-reel dream. The dream had an intermission, and even rolled credits at the end of the first reel with a wee teaser for the second act. But I didn't fall back asleep, so I missed the second half.

It was the credits that had me going, "bwah?" when I woke up. I don't remember that happening before.

I once dreamed an entire prequel to The Adventures Of Buckaroo Banzai Across The 8th Dimension. The dream ended with the opening scenes of the movie.

And I've seen the movie maybe twice.

On a car trip with a friend during the height of my online (text-based) gaming days, I was draped over the seat, asleep. I woke up when I realized that I was typing my dream. I don't even remember the dream, just that I was typing it. :)

movie dreams

Recently I had a dream in which I was in the movie of a book, and which quite clearly deviated from the book, and I kept begging someone, anyone, to get me a copy of the book so I could read it and find out how it really comes out.

My infamous movie dream, though, involved being in what clearly was an action movie, and clearly being the methodical and sensible female star who does all the right things and fails while the villian gets his butt kicked by the half-brained hero. I woke myself up saying "it's bad enough being in an action movie but did i have to be the damn blonde?"
