Baltimore Sky

Today is a fluffy day. And looking up, I found myself imagining that there ought to be, among that vast array of bright puffballs, a smaller, mostly golden brown cloud with a pointy nose, herding the cumulus flock and growling menacingly at approaching cold fronts.

I love this image! But, being partial to border collies, I like to imagine the herder with dark and bright patches.

Border Collies!

I had a border collie named "Fluffy" when I was growing up. Alas, I got him 23 years before I had any sheep to herd. So, for sheep herding we had to make do with an Australian cattle dog named "Pepper". We once again have no sheep, so now Pepper has decided it's her job to herd our other dogs. They don't appreciate this. ;-)

No, no! There should be a mass of cloud, with wispy tendril clouds coming off it in random directions, and two spots of dark, menacing cloud in the middle!
