"Too dirrty to clean my act up
If you ain't dirrty
You ain't here to party"

You're so dirty, you make Christina look clean.

(I wonder what percentage of the possible results I even know.
I wonder whether "Money", "Tiger", "Children of the Sun", and
"Hocus Pocus" are even on the list. Any of those might be a
lot of fun.)

There, those piled up over the past week or so. Now I've got that out of my system for a while.

I ended up as Siddhartha Gautama. No WONDER so many people have been trying to pat my belly for luck lately.

Depending on my mood, I founded Jainism, and am either that person, Aleister Crowley, or Lao Tzu. There.

Well, it turns out I am Aleister Crowley. And one of the folks I am seeing is Lao Tzu. Hmm.:P

Weird... You really believe all that stuff, huh? Pardon me, I don't mean to be rude, but that's some bizarre doctrine. (Those of you who don't know me very well may take it as an article of fact that I find all religions weird to a greater or lesser extent, mostly greater. *grin*) Many of those terms are, for all intents and purposes, meaningless to me, so even though I realise what they're supposed to mean, it's all sort of abstract.

As near as I can tell, I don't have a sense of "sin," aside from its meaning that's roughly synonymous with "transgression," no sense of the divine, and, if I'd never heard of the concept of having a soul, it never would have occurred to me. I get the feeling that I don't exactly live in the same universe as most people. Sure there are (large) areas of congruence, but not 100% overlap. I guess I got synaesthesia instead. *grin*

Well yeah, and you already knew I believed at least some stuff that seems odd to you (though I suppose having some of the details listed out like that makes the dissonance more tangible than when you just remember, "Oh yeah, Glenn's a Christian".

I started a much longer reply here, but I don't think I'm awake enough to convey what I want to right now. I'll try again later, either here or in a separate entry I've been meaning to write for a while anyhow, on what certain components of my faith mean to me.

I don't think you're unusual for lacking a sense of sin. I think "sin", in any sense beyond mere "right and wrong", is a meme that characterizes the Abrahamic faiths; I'm unsurprised at hearing anyone not of those faiths not incorporating the sin meme.
