Weird... You really believe all that stuff, huh? Pardon me, I don't mean to be rude, but that's some bizarre doctrine. (Those of you who don't know me very well may take it as an article of fact that I find all religions weird to a greater or lesser extent, mostly greater. *grin*) Many of those terms are, for all intents and purposes, meaningless to me, so even though I realise what they're supposed to mean, it's all sort of abstract.
As near as I can tell, I don't have a sense of "sin," aside from its meaning that's roughly synonymous with "transgression," no sense of the divine, and, if I'd never heard of the concept of having a soul, it never would have occurred to me. I get the feeling that I don't exactly live in the same universe as most people. Sure there are (large) areas of congruence, but not 100% overlap. I guess I got synaesthesia instead. *grin*
Well yeah, and you already knew I believed at least some stuff that seems odd to you (though I suppose having some of the details listed out like that makes the dissonance more tangible than when you just remember, "Oh yeah, Glenn's a Christian".
I started a much longer reply here, but I don't think I'm awake enough to convey what I want to right now. I'll try again later, either here or in a separate entry I've been meaning to write for a while anyhow, on what certain components of my faith mean to me.
I don't think you're unusual for lacking a sense of sin. I think "sin", in any sense beyond mere "right and wrong", is a meme that characterizes the Abrahamic faiths; I'm unsurprised at hearing anyone not of those faiths not incorporating the sin meme.
