Yes, homophobia is a symptom of repressed homosexuality (or bisexuality as old_hedwig stated). But homophobia is not *only* a symptom of repressed homosexuality/bisexuality. People, as a group, are complex, and exhibit a massive range of views, feelings, and reactions. IOW, there are examples of people who are entirely heterosexual, but still homophobic.
I have very little to no tolerance for it. I just know that it exists.
