It's true that I prolly heard the expression somewhere before...but then a) it wouldn't be the first time I'd malapropped something into a quoteworthy form (such as, "Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup," whom I was the first to coin), and b) the important and salient point is to get out of one's clothes, which I for the most part approve of.
